To our esteemed audience, we here at 3Rymagazine, appreciate your patronage and allowing us to be your trusted source for business, entertainment, health, fashion and current news. We are fully aware that our readers are concerned about the happenings not only locally, but nationally taking place in their midst. 

This brings me to expressing to you all the importance of voting in this year’s upcoming presidential election. Being a viable part of our democracy, is the only way to ensure that the correct party, whom has the best interest of American citizens holds the most important seat in not only the nation, but notably the free world. If the current social climate is not enough to implore you to make your way to the voting booths this fall. Simply look back into the history of the country we all love and hold so dear and find a time where injustice has not been rife, especially for minorities and people of color. You will not find one.

There have been so many sacrifices made, and the colors of the faces hold no bearing over the intent to right wrongs and overturn what has become a consecutive norm of police brutality, racial disparity in education, and still politically backed segregation, that places many in the constraints of poverty and systemic cycling that does not give a large portion of society the road to the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.

As a publication, we aim to inform you, our readers, but we also hope to inspire, and invoke passion, to be a lighthouse and blaring alarm, when we have opportunities to come together and make a difference. Your vote belongs to you, make it a righteous vote, make it a vote of integrity, make it count. No matter who you decide to endorse, we ask with significant emphasis that you take this time to do what so many American citizens fought for, and so many more never got the opportunity to have their vote be counted, and their voice be heard. Let us honor all of the victims of injustice, of flawed policy, and outdated etiquette, by registering and executing our civic duty of choosing our representation and voting.

As we gear up for the 4th annual Detroit Choice Awards and many of us here at 3RYMagazine are ready to take part in the brighter side of politics, as we celebrate the Honorees, Vanguards, and Local establishments of our beautiful city of Detroit. We know that The Detroit Choice Awards is not an event, but a year-long movement celebrated for one night. A pillar for bringing Detroit's city together, celebrating a year-round commitment to individuals who directly impact and serve their community. Bonding community activists, business owners, spiritual leaders and politicians together, as the common goal is unification, positivity and progression. We want the same vibration to take over the nation! We can only do that with the participation of each and every viable person of voting age.
