By Neshele Godfrey

Whether you live in the Metropolitan area, or one of its sister communities, you are witnessing a city continuing to rise. I have found new hotels, condos and apartments, breathtaking murals, restaurants, retail stores, entertainment venues, and sport complexes. Large companies like Amazon and Ford Motor Company are showing out. Amazon have built a four-story, 3.8 million-square-foot building at the former State Fairgrounds. Ford Motor Company have also revealed their plans to revitalize the Michigan Central Station and make it a hub. The list goes on and on. One thing for sure, Detroit continues to produce a vibe that inspires you to venture out one way or another. Detroit, you are beautiful!

What’s up Detroit! Welcome back to my Review Corner where you will find the latest scoop on upcoming entertainment, food, and places to travel. Let’s chat. This month I would like to uplift my favorite comedian, actor, and author Kevin Hart. When I tell you that Kevin has his hands in all the bags. I mean just that. Kevin hosts two shows: Celebrity Game Fame and Hart to Heart. He played in numerous movies and tv series. Not sure why you he failed to make the NCB’s Saturday Night Live audition, but we see you Kevin Hart. Job well done sir. And continue to get the bag.

Detroit, I would like to settle the debate between Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill and Yate’s Cider Mill once and for all. Which cider mill has the best warm donuts? Which mill has the best apples and fresh-pressed cider? We want to hear from you Detroit. But before you render your decision, make sure you stop at both cider mills. You will thank me later.
